Bid it like Beckham: David sells his all-black Rolls-Royce Phantom for £250,000

David Beckham has decided to sell his limited edition black Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe.
The most capped English footballer of all time bought the stylish car in 2008 for £350,000 and spent thousands more having it customised.

He personally oversaw every additional design to the car and asked for it to be blacked out with tinted windows, a black Spirit of Ecstasy, and huge black 24-inch alloys were also added.

The car became one of Hollywood's most recognisable vehicles before it sold.
The unique automobile was the jewel in Beckham's extensive all-black air-conditioned garage, which also included a specially built Range Rover, Porsche 911 and a Jeep Wrangler.

The LA Galaxy star has amassed 6,000 miles in the flashy car and has sent it to a specialist dealership to be sold.
Towbin Cars, in Las Vegas, is advertising the car for $390, 000 and offer a full service history for the 6.75-litre V12 engine which develops 450bhp and enables among the smoothest acceleration of all cars.
It can do 0 to 62 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds and it has an overall top speed of 150mph.

To the point: The car has clocked up nearly 6000 miles since Beckham bought it in 2008

It is described as 'meticulously maintained' and owned by a 'non smoker'.
The flashy car is not very fuel efficient and guzzles petrol with the three tonne beast averaging just 11 miles per gallon.
With four-children and a commute to work, it probably isn't the best car for the school-run.

Becks hasn't lost faith in the Rolls-Royce family, however, and he is reportedly on a waiting list for his next new - a Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Ahmed Al-Bakry, who represents the car in Europe and the Middle East with Refined Marques, said: 'The car is unique in terms of its options and design, it is not everyday you see a convertible Rolls-Royce with 24-inch wheels.
'David Beckham is a one of a kind footballer who owned this one of a kind car.
'It is a brilliant opportunity to buy such a fantastic vehicle.'
